OK - I've had 2 of these seat posts: one came on my LeJeune, the other on my Peugeot. The one on the LeJeune has been rock solid. With the Peugeot, the saddle was pushed all the way back and would sometimes slip _minutely_

Actually, I'm certain this was due the the rails on that saddle being a bit undersized. And I certainly was never in any danger. Also, I know a few really large individuals who have used these posts without any problems.
