And let me also be labelled a sinner: Another 1970s Peugeot with a 9spd dri vetrain, in this case Shimano Ultegra STI... even has MTB FD and pedals to complete the

sacrilege.

When I first got it had a horrible steel fron t wheel and a Suntour RD, so it never was original. It's not exotic or wort h any $, there no permanent changes - haven't changed the rear spacing, 105 hub springs into place okay, this one had standard RD and BB threads. It's setup and used as a commuter - unlike most modern bikes it has clearance f or mudguards and eyelets for a rear rack, but I much prefer riding in traff ic with STI than downtube shifters.
