Subject: [CR]Introduction

Just joined up and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Rudy Norvelle and live in San Jose, California, USA. I have one on topic bicycle and one almost on topic bicycle. The on topic one is a Cinelli SC that I bought from Spence Wolf in 1969 for $249.00 total!! I am fortunate in a way that I am a packrat and never throw anything away. Every time I upgraded the Cinelli I kept the old parts. About two years ago I decided to make it look the way it was when I bought it. I had Terry Shaw build up a pair of clinchers on the original hubs, put the Nuevo Record rear derailleur and Record front derailleur back on, and also placed the Mafac Top 63 Brakes with Weinmann levers on. The Crankset is a TA Criterium. I enjoy riding it once in a while and it seems more confortable than my Colango Classic. My off topic bike other than my Colnago is a Miyata 1000 that I purchsed in 1985 (two years too new) and I will not mention my Mtn Bike.
