I have a pair of grips that I need to take off without ruining them. Any ideas on that? I was thinking about sticking something under like a blunt screwdriver and then spraying some soapy water in there to make it slippery and then working around it, spraying again. Any ideas?
Easier yet - Go to your LBS and use their compressed air with a pointy nozzle. Hold a finger over one end and either blow the air in the hole of the other one if their is a hole, or at the edge, and it will shoot right off. Then do the same thing on the other side holding your palm over the end of the bar. Using a screwdriver will likely scratch the bars and may also damage the grips.
