Even though I would not do what that person has done with the Masi should I be so lucky as to find a seven-dollar thrift store Masi, I still find his non-chalance about it refreshing if perhaps foolish. His changing it, his using it as a fixed gear, his getting it presentable for himself does show that he considers it a bike to be ridden. And that is, afterall, why it was built in the first place however changed it has become.

Cheers.
