I used DB spokes on most of the wheels I built in the mid-70s through the
late 80s when I stopped building for a while, I came back to it recently
and felt horrified that DB is so much harder to find now. I never broke
a spoke on a wheel I built (I weigh just 140lbs), and really loved the
minor weight saving of DB spokes, it makes so much good sense to me...
