There was a question about original Zeus colors: below are some samples.
Circa 1970 the professional was a copper color:

In 1972 there was a silver grey as in this pista example (yikes -- a fixie):

This image from a 1972 frame flyer has a list of colors:
Catalog colors circa 1977 are listed at the link below:
The neighboring photos show examples of the listed colors, e.g. here is orange:
Here is a "champagne" bike from 1980:
In the early 80's Zeus went for the paint-over-chrome look:
I've seen bikes in metallic colors (red, blue, green) such as the one on the CR site, but have no catalogs showing them. Many of these bikes have headbadges rather than the stickers shown in the seventies catalogs, so I suspect they are from the late sixties.
The competition model was advertised in 1973, here is an ad:
I had one of these in silver-grey The ad mentions assorted colors but is tight-lipped as to their identities.
As a postscript, here's an image of the Zeus paint-spraying booth circa 1972:

Most Competitions I saw were in a dark metallic green with a few in other dark metallic shades. So, what were their official colors?
