I have found that EAR PLUGS are the best solution, Mine screech less in the winter. Maybe due to my wearing a head band to keep my bloody ears warm. ALSO never clean you rims with Armorall! but the stuff does make the tires shine AND slip.BUT all serious aside, all the things so far should cure the problem. I have found that cleaning the pads works the best, if the red pads are black on the edge that hits the rim this could be the problem. Shudders. I have found are the rims, out of true OR ARMORALL on them,or some such, also on regular caliphers the adjustment of the front nut and lock nut so no play is present. Cheers John Crump OldanddefBrit.
