It is a memoir. Mr. Hewson rode in the Tour de France in 1959 and spent three years racing in Europe as an independent. He rode against the post war greats in cycling (Coppi, Koblet, Anquetil, Van Steenbergen, amoung others). It is a first person account. Hewson is quite a writer.
