Apropos of the topic & thread kicked off by Paul Williams of Ottawa, I just got back from a stop at my local (that's bike shop -- bit early to be the pub) and spotted an interesting combo: A nice vintage Guercotti steel frame, medium blue, chromed fork, decals in good shape -- Fizik saddle and full new DuraAce 10 drive train front & rear.
It's one of the mech's bikes: he loves the frame and can't see why anyone would ride any other components. Gotta tell you, I did a real doubel-take when I first saw it.
