As I indicated, the Milan Show was not at all about vintage bikes. Furthermore, due to the lack of commercial interest, the bike part of the show's future is somewhat in doubt.
The bike you refer to was on the Colnago stand, and, in my opinion, represents a peculiar hybrid, constructed for exhibition purposes only. It has features of the Colnago 35th Anniversary Master Piu (itself derived from the Arabesque with formed tubes), but with horizontal dropouts, gold plated Campy C Record parts (including gold Cobalto brakes), including gold-plated C Record cranks, which as you noticed, have the 35th Anniversary Logo , Campy SR pedals, a Brooks saddle and flat bars painted to match the frame color-a brownish Burgundy-not the same as the more wine colored Sarronis. In short, it was a kind of Town Bike with Bling.
Also notice that the Casati stand (both father and son were very nice and discussed vintage bikes with great enthusiasm) displayed, among very baroque carbon bikes, a beautiful KOF Linea d'Oro steel lugged frame in white-very high quality too. A photo is in the album. This frame can be currently ordered from Casati.
Campagnolo showed some cool retro jerseys-also nice quality.
I had failed to mention that some rim and tire manufacturers did discuss vintage items with me and even promised to check on availability of old stock.
