Paletti is far from obscure. Maybe you're thinking of Pagnini?
I've seen a Paletti Meteor frame, and it is very cool and distinctive. The one on eBay does not look exactly refined, in fact it's downright funky, but it's still one of those Italian frames of it's time (mid 80s ?) that I always liked, especially when dressed up with Paletti panto parts.
With a BIN of $366, I would be very tempted to snap it up. Fortunately the seller will only ship within Germany.
