Oh dear, it must have been past my bedtime even when I wrote the post about our club´s old bike event.
Anyway, thanks Tom, Terry, Paul and Ken to have asked the right questions and given the right answers. All I wanted to say was that there won´t be a race, but an event in which it matters to arrive inside a certain time window, that we´ll have a small area to ourselves before the run in which to display our bikes for our own and other people´s enjoyment, and that some bike bits will be for sale, too, if
people bring any.
Let me quote an Englishman to finish the post, "And so to bed."
