Paramount fans, I'm posting this eBay Paramount because I think it's pretty unusual:

http://ebay.com/<blah>

I may be missing something (and I'm no Major Taylor), but I became interested when I spotted the smallish seatstay caps typical of 60's Paramounts vs. ones from the 70's. Then I noticed the SN in the listing: C617. I wrote to the seller, who corroborated that is the serial number for the frame, and that the components are indeed of later vintage. I believe the serial dates the frame to 1966, which would make this the earliest Prugnat-lugged Paramount I've yet seen or heard of, and hence historically interesting. It is, of course, a P-13 frame (or perhaps custom) that has been "converted" into a P-15. I had previously believed the earliest use of Prugnat lugs for Paramounts to date to 1967. Perhaps my take on this bike is factually off base - any other Paramount afficianados care to weigh in?
