first off, a big thank you for the dozens of responses i received to the la st set of questions i had about 151 vs. 144 and paramount lugs. it's quite a brain trust we have here!
if you sent me an off-list email and i didn't reply, my apologies. but i th ink i got back to most of you.
next off, a few things i'm looking for:
\u2013 a spare rear campy record pista axle or two. (mine had a little b it of a bend that was discovered last night and the euro-asia replacement a xle that we installed is a little long.)
\u2013 a 'beater/lockup' track frame: track ends, drilled fork. preferab ly straight and undented but paint condition is not an issue. a road/path f rame would be great.
\u2013 clincher rims: 32 or 36 hole mavic ma2 or similar, preferabl y newish and polished or metal finish.
