Anquetil's derailleur has two cables, one allows adjusting the chain tension. Excess chain tension was believed to contribute to friction.

Anquetil uses Stronglight 49D cranks. (The arms are too big for the 49A steel model.) Ocker also appears to be using cranks with a square taper. Coppis are obscured, unfortunately.
