Okay, so the leather is from another saddle, but it won't quite reach the rivet holes in the cantle plate with the adjustment screw all the way back. What you need to do is devise a way of flexing the rails to temporarily "shorten" the frame to insert and the rear rivets. Drill a hole through a 10" piece of 2x4. Place a couple of strips of wood across it to support the rails at the back and front and then use part of a seatpost clamp and a bolt to draw down the rails in the middle.
