I have been receiving an unusual amount of phishing scams lately. Most of them have been in the form of" 'Message from eBay Member' regarding item xxxxxxxx" Stating that the person has the item off-auction and if I just follow the link and buy the item (often still active) that the item will be mine. The second most common is that my PayPal account has been suspended. Same story. Luckily, my mail filters most of them in the "Junk" box where I can deal with them. I no longer bother forwarding them to eBay as it saves me from receiving two emails from eBay. Most of the attempts are pathetic and simplistic, however I did receive the most sophisticated one a few days ago. And for a few dollars I will send it to everyone ion the list. The curious item is how they receive my email address to send them to? Any ideas? BT
