I second all that. Around '76 I bought a pair of the time trial wheels. Of course, young and idiotic, I rode them all over--for a few weeks. Then a couple of spokes pulled out of the rear rim (actually tore the aluminum). I'm lucky that's all that happened. In those days I used to ride downhill with little restraint. That was enough for me.
I've got a bunch of Hi-E hubs sitting around here; I even still have that pair of TT wheels. They are very good--except for that TT front. If anyone has an interest in them, I'm open to a trade or something.
