Instead today we have in bottom bracket/cranks Octalink, Isis, Campy, and whatever that new Dura-Ace thing is called. For pedals, there's SPD, Look, Campy, and goodness knows what else -- each with their own special cleats. And what about shifter/brifters, cassettes, and chains? And is it even possible to buy a non-proprietary factory-built wheel anymore?
