The Campy SR crank is off and in it's place is a NOS Sugino Mighty Tourist with outer 50T TA ring and 34 inner (had to gear down). The Campy SR rear derailler (temporarily replaced with an OT Deore and then Spence Wolfe style modified Campy SR with Rally cage) is replaced with a first generation (I think) Rally, which to me looks as pretty or prettier. I bought this from the kind head mechanic at Proteus. Suntour headset shifters replace the Campy SR downtube levers.

How does it ride? I dunno -It's been snowing, raining and cold most days here in Laurel.

Also a complement to all Listmembers: You all are a great bunch of writers! I've noticed this over the years and have been really impressed. This is coming from a professional who writes technical stuff in my field of Food Microbiology for a living. I enjoy your posts for a lot of reasons.
