An expander bolt like a stem. My Malagnini has this arrangement also, see: http://italiancyclingjournal.blogspot.com/2007/05/me-and-my-malagnini.html The DuraAce seatpost, as far as I know has been modified by Malagnini; the other side of the post has a hex bolt head that you turn to lock the seatpost in.
