Subject: [CR]The mythical Mavic/Modolo aero brake lever modfication kit

A couple of weeks ago I got a message through my website from a fellow in Germany who wanted to modify his Modol/Mavic traditional brake levers for aero cable routing. I told him about the two types of modified levers I have, and I also mentioned that I had heard that Mavic used to sell an aero modification kit, but that I'd never seen one.

Lo and behold, Christmas came a little early for this fellow. He just sent me this link:

http://ebay.com/<blah>

The Mavic/Modolo kit does exist! I'm glad to have finally seen it.

I wonder if it would work with Nuovo/Super Record levers? If anybody has one of these kits for sale or trade, please let me know.

PS - For those who may be interested, below are links for the two types of levers that I have.

This is the one on my Masi:

And this is the one on my Cinelli Laser:

The system on the Laser is superior in performance. The system on the Masi is interesting because it can still be used with traditional (non-aero) routing.
