Read Peter Browns post! He wins the DVD! The bike did sell for GBP280 or approx $564.00 PLUS if going across the pond $300.00 postage. I think he could have got that for the frame and forks alone. Now my thoughts, In my mind the only 1952 about the bike was the frame forks bars and stem, Up to Petes post not one member looked at the saddle! also did anyone count the # spokes on the wheel.., BUT the big item was the word NEW. Reason I was interested in it, was that I did have a Allrounder that I raced on for many years, It did NOT have the lugs, purchased late 1949. (Dad would not spring for a Avant Coureur!) Now if I could only find a 21" frame. Thank you all, for your input, I was very surprised at how many took up the challenge. Good to hear some comments on Brit iron, seems like the list tends to be bias to Italian Iron. Happy holidays to all. Wish the snow would go then on the bike I would GO! GO! GO!
