My question would be whether this is indeed a FRENCH made bike at all.

The Nervex BB marking would indicate the chainstay nozzles are actually 7/8" (22.2 mm) rather than the metric French diameter. And, the Reynolds decal is also in English. Looks to have nice quality lugs and I don't question the Reynolds butted frame tubes... but is this in fact a French bike?

Regardless, I do like the bike. But, I'd think late 1950s to 1960s would be more likely than the presumed 1930s-40s which the seller noted.
