Below is a list of items which I've put up on Ebay. There are two really lovely frames this week - the Raleigh track frame from late 1992 has some real provenance. The Brian Rourke is real cracker of a frame with truly lovely workmanship. And the Dave Lloyd whilst later than the CR cutoff date is truly lovely steel frame. There are some other lovely parts and accessories too - the Mavic E rims are some of the first new generation narrow section rims and almost certainly date from the 1970s - they make a very practical alternative to sprints and tubulars... And to finish off your Italian road bike whats better than Benotto handlebar tape in Italian flag colours. Veloflex tyres are some of the very best available and these would work beautifully on the Mavic E rims. And there are some very useful consummables - Weinmann red brake blocks, Fibrax/GB red brake blocks, more Benotto tape and some really nice leather shoes from Detto Pietro, Holdsworthy and some fleece lined shoes. And for those who like the practicality of 1980s Suntour rear gears there are two NOS gears, a VXGT and a lesser known but similar SVXGT gear. For those interested in British cycle history Shake, The Monckton Boys and Hercules Pros is a great read with some nice pics mostly about one of the unknowns of British time trialling Shake Earnshaw who rode Carlton Flyers for a couple of years prior to WWII.
The auctions finish on Sunday as usual and all are best found using my ebay identity hilarystone or go to:
