Hi List!

Time to sadly cull the heard, and yes I have more then 50 in the herd.....

I am selling a custom Land Shark built by none other then the one-man production shop John Slawta http://www.landsharkbicycles.com..

I heard John as a presenter at the Cirque a few years ago and was amazed by his profienency and abilities as a frame builder.

The most unique feature of this pristine track bicycle is the twin seat tubes that descend from the top seat tube allowing the rear tire to sit nuzzled in between.

In checking with other CR folks the date is still in the KOF timeline at around 1982 or so.

I have photos available for those that are considering adopting this great piece of track iron.

Frame: Steel butted tubing, often John combines just the right tubing sets for the ultimate handling and responsive frame. The frame is painted with a grey "marbled" finish with "Death or Glory" on chain stays, and "Track Shark" on top tube, with the Head Tube with a Skull and Crossbones, all tastfully done. Flawlessly TiG welded. No scratches, dents, dings, accidents, or frame issues. Only usual insertion marks on the rear track dropout.

Campagnolo Pista Group: 1980's, cranks (170's), the famous star front and rear hubs with lock ring, Alloy aero seatpost, My all time favorite part of this bicycle is the "virgin" (that is still in the original box never been ridden or mounted) pista pedals, alloy toe clips and white leather toe clip straps.

Frame is 60cm from center to top, top tube is 53.5 cm long. Total wheel base is a tightly responsive 95.5 cm. Front fork is drilled for a brake (never been installed). No drilling for rear brake.

Seat: matching grey leather Selle Italian Flight with Titanium Rails.

Wheels: Rims with Fiamme "Hard Silver" tubular, tires as new Vittoria Pro-team Coasa CG Ultra P.G. Tubulars.

Chain: Regina CX

Selling Price is $1,650 (open to trading for some of that) and I can deliver in California or will carefully box and ship at actual cost.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I would be glad to talk on the phone, just contact me off list.

Happy Holidays!
