Why not just clear coat it? That is unbeatable patina! I have a Chech Favorit that was partially damaged in a cellar fire. Did the same thing with it, but did remove the molten(i) plastic bits. The Rd was a Favorit model P-W-B and under the muck was top chrome. Rock on, Kim
