Gary Watts commented on it. The below link will take you to the archival discussion of Colnago dating. I didn't look at it to verify all the details, but if you really want to find the date, or close, I suspect these notes will guide you toward it. The nutted brakes, single water bottle bosses (the other is clamp), the holes in the fork crown, clover cutouts, type of lugs, will provide the clues. My guess is 78-81. And, the 27.2 seattube size tells me it is likely Columbus SL. Lou Deeter, Temporarily writing from Scottsdale, Arizona. Here is the link.

_____________________________________________________________________ The late-70's-early 80's guesses don't make sense to me for a couple of reasons: I've never seen a Colnago from that era with multiple lug cutouts or long dropouts. But those clearly aren't the usual Colnago headlugs, either, with the little scallop bitten out of them, or the usual longer fluted caps. I'm wondering if this isn't indeed a very?early Super (i.e. late-60's) that has endured a bit of a beating.
