I purchased a similar model when I was stationed at Bitburg Air Force base in Bitburg, Germany. I bought mine in 1987 from a small shop in Trier. This my first new bike. It was made with Columbus tubing, had all-chrome panto fork, chrome stays, and a pearl white/candy blue paint job. The bike was al l shimano 600 equiped (no bio pace). While in Germany I joined a local ridi ng club called RV Zeven 07, based in Trier. I went on some great rides thro ugh Germany, Luxemborg, and Northern France. Sold the bike after I got out of the military when I was broke and needed the dough...
