Dearest Listees,

The Official BVVW jersey idea is about to become a reality. Although this project has dragged on for what seems like an eternity( total about two years while I moved twice), jerseys will be ordered on Tuesday January 8, 2008! The gold material has been dyed and knitted. Enough money has been collected to order. The Italian factory where the jerseys will be manufactured however , is closed for winter holiday untill the end of the first week ofJanuary, as does the rest of Italy. I would like to extend an "apology" bonus to any one who has already paid by offering a 10% discount upon delivery. But, If you want one and haven't yet ordered, then get me a check NOW!

Please read the following for details:

The BVVW jersey is gold with a wide white stripe across the chest and back, flanked by a thin black stripe above and another below the white with gold/black ribbing at the collar and sleeve ends and is made of 100% Merino wool with three buttoned pockets in the rear. The BVVW jersey will be available in both long and short sleeve versions and WITH and WITHOUT embroidery. So...... their are four possible combinations. Please take a look at a computerized rendition:

Then go to

for the Player's card that gave me the idea.

I think that this is one beautiful, classy jersey!

The embroidered version will have "BVVW" on the top of the sleeves at the sholders(curved like the "Brooklyn" Woolistic jersey) with "G.S.Pergolizzi" on the left breast Area; "G.S." stands for "Gruppo Sportivo". All of the embroidery will be in black chain stitch wool (like the San Pellegrino jersey). Or, if you prefer, get the plain version with NO embroidery.

Our jerseys will be manufactured by Alex Clark's company "Woolistic" in Italy and will be sized the same as their other fine jerseys, so please refer to

http://www.vintagevelos.com/sizes1.html

for sizing information. The quality of the Woolistic products is unsurpassed in the world of cycling today and will be a fine addition to your jersey collection.

Prices are commensurate with the other jerseys in the Woolistic Line; short sleeve are $132.00 each and long sleeve are $143.00 each. Please refer to the Vintagevelos site for shipping specifics (add $8.00 priority shipping in the continental U.S. to your order for the first item, $2.00 extra for each additional item).

Payment by personal check or bank check or money order is to be sent to me at:

John T.Pergolizzi 7454 Eads Ave. La Jolla, Ca 92037

PLEASE INCLUDE:

-Full return address

-Size required

-Full payment including shipping charge

-Embroidered or No embroidery

After the order to Woolistic in Switzerland is placed, expect approximately a two month wait for the jerseys to be delivered to me. I will then ship them to you. Remember , these are custom. Patience has been paramount and I thank those of you who have been waiting.

And please REMEMBER:

**********25% of the profits of The BVVW jersey sale will go to next years Cirque Auction charity Operation Smile. The exact amount will be announced after the jerseys are all delivered. The Total to Operation Smile (www.operationsmile.org) this year was $11,500.00!**************

Again, I apologise for the extraordinarily long wait; Ive been busy. No excuse. BUT you will soon forget the wait when your style'n around The Park in one a deez!

Now you've saved your penny's, told your Honey what you wanted for your birthday, Christmas has come and gone, give yourself a treat! Do whatever it takes to get one of these beauties cause life is short and this is not a dress rehearsal!
