Subject: [CR]Campag gear lever question

Hoping this isn´t too much of a daft question, here we go.

I´ve got two sorts of Campag gear levers in my box, they can be told

apart if one looks at the bolts holding the actual levers to the bands/braze on studs. One sort has a standard round slotted head, the other one has an oval wire protruding from the bolt head with the help

of which one can tension the friction disc.

What´s the reason for the two systems? Age? Different models?

Thanks for helping me once again, but I would like to get it right - this is the finishing touch for my 1957/58 Johnny Berry I think. I did

look in Chuck Schmidt´s timeline and elsewhere, to no avail.
