Hoping this isn´t too much of a daft question, here we go.
I´ve got two sorts of Campag gear levers in my box, they can be told
apart if one looks at the bolts holding the actual levers to the bands/braze on studs. One sort has a standard round slotted head, the other one has an oval wire protruding from the bolt head with the help
of which one can tension the friction disc.
What´s the reason for the two systems? Age? Different models?
Thanks for helping me once again, but I would like to get it right - this is the finishing touch for my 1957/58 Johnny Berry I think. I did
look in Chuck Schmidt´s timeline and elsewhere, to no avail.
