List Members,

The group I typically ride with, "The Fat Men" team out of The Bike Stand in Scotch Plains, NJ usually ride off topic bikes. You know, carbon fiber Aegis, a Tom Kellogg Ti bike, what ever. But today, I was stunned! The boys showed up with a lugged steel Pinerello, a Land Shark, a Masi Nuovo Strada, and an Alpine. I brought a KOF Peter Weigle. Tres Kewl!

The temperature at 0900 was about 28F but the wind chill was nasty. As the morning wore on we gained about 5 degrees.

The Weigle is the only modern shifting bike that I own and I have to say that the old stuff shifts a lot better in real cold weather.
