Yes I also have one of those Campagnolo vests. Likewise I have found it durable, when the retention straps eventually failed I found spares at my Campy dealer. I'm told the Shimano version however is not rebuildable, and when the smallest part fails, a whole new vest must be purchased. Back in the day though, Suntour made the best vest, less than half the price of Campy and donning/doffing of the Suntour vest was silky smooth in comparison with the more 'agricultural' Campy version.
