Nope not a dream. I bought about 20 of these flags on eBay a few years ago. And yep... they still have that French plastic smell! Brought be instantly back to 1974 when I was 16 and had to choose between spending my newspaper route money on travelling to France on the SS FRANCE or buying my dream PX-10. I chose the ship and bought a new UE-8 instead. With that flag. And that smell. My one was stolen three years later. I most love the cool headlamp with the yellow French bulb.
