My 1967 PX-10' has Model 93. Someone have a picture of Tom Simpson on that fateful day on the Mont Ventoux? I thought he was using Mod 93 cranks, even if the frame was a repainted Masi. That was a date burned into cycling history, so if he was riding mod 93 that would definitvely place them before 1970.

Does anyone have actual dated catalog entries or magazine adverts showing the "new" crank first being released? Perhaps early photos showing the 93 on a bike in one of the big races?

I would really appreciate any [off list] scans anyone could send, or online references of anything which could pass for tangible documentation.

Not a big deal of course, but I'm convinced they were available before 1970, and would like to show a mechanic friend evidence of this... and also satisfy my own curiosity.

Thanks!
