Hello Group-
I recently bought a 'lot' on ebay of campy BB spindles. There were a couple of road and one pista. I was after the pista. But one thing I noticed was that the 'flanges' on the pista spindle were thicker and a bit taller.
So my question is, were their differences in the actual cups between strada and pista? Or was it a bearing size issue. I also receive one spindle that was marked SP (strada/pista) which I was assuming was c- record. So I'm guess with old cup and spindle c-recs, the cups were the same with both of these.
Can someone please give me a breakdown on the differences between older campy cups. Pista/Strada, thick wall, thin wall, rifling, etc.
Thanks in advance.
