Here is a link to a post and some nice pictures of a 1980 Gitane, which supposedly was owned/ridden by Hinault. The guy in the picture may be the brother of a former Renault-Elf rider, Hubert Arbes, but I am not sure.
Anyhow, any help with the translation from you Francophiles out there would be great, as I speak the wrong European language when it comes to my hobby!
