So with some good fortune I was able to convince Sasha to forward Pogliaghi #6844 to me for "safekeeping". The bike is now built up with mostly 1st-gen Campagnolo Pista components with seating comforts provided by a Brooks B47 Sprinter and navigation by Cinelli. A quick photo of it can be viewed here:
