Hi, there's a vintage Swallow on Ebay for a surprisingly low price, 250196620609.

The seller says it has "has spider web cracks along seat top." Is this serious degradation? Will it hold a 180# rider, or does this kind of damage mean it's toast?

My B-15 swallow broke not too long ago. Tony Colegrave, who is very highly regarded as the authority on recovering Brooks saddles, charges significantly more for the swallows than for flap saddles; the total price islikely to be more than $200 at today's exchange rate of the dollar to the pound. I'm lookingforward to getting my newly re-done B-17 Narrow back from him by Spring.
