A while ago I owned a 60cm c-c Fuso frame. I've ridden frames this size for nearly 20 years. I set it up with components (bars, stem, crank, etc.) of the same dimensions as those on my other frames. The Fuso rode fine, but I found it too-quick handling, a feature I didn't like. That was my personal preference, others may like it more. According to Dave Moulton, I should ride a 57c-c frame with a 56.5cm top tube and a 13cm frame. Generally, I like the way all my ~60cm frames ride, but now I wonder whether Dave knows something all those bike shop mechanics who set me up on a 60 twenty years ago -- and whose recommendations I've followed since then -- don't.
Anyone have a 57cm Fuso or Moulton I can test ride :-)?

I have a 60.5 c-c Fuso that is set up JUST like the pictured compact frameset at the bottom of the page. 7 inches of seatpost showing, a 70 mm stem about 2.5 inches up from the headtube. Rode the thing a couple of weekends ago for the first time (had to build a couple of wheels), it
was an absolute pleasure. total control and predictability with a personality all it's own. Saw one the following weekend at a swap meet my wife's size and favorite color, thought it serendipity, it is now on the stand waiting for a pair of jewels for the cobaltos, and bar wrap to
match the lettering. She will ride it for the first time when she
returns from a trip.
Proportionally, it is set up like my other rides on wooljersey:

next time i am out on it, the Fuso will join the archive. It is the weirdest color combination i should add...gabriel after a great windy ride in chesterfield new jersey usa
