[CR]Help dating a Mavic SSC gruppo

I recently acquired a bunch of Mavic SSC components. The Calipers say SSC on them and the brakes, both derailleurs and parts of the crankset have a dark bronze-like anodizing. Looking at the Mavic catalog on the excellent Equus site http://www.equusbicycle.com/bike/mavic/index.html I see that the gruppo pictured there does not seem to be anodized, nor do the calipers seem to say SSC on them.. Might any one have a handle on what year my stuff might be from? I checked Chuck's Mavic Time Line and could not seem to come
up with an answer.
