Though I do not particularly care for the tread pattern , Paselas in 700 X 32 have brought me thru L'EROICA twice without any problems. As to the 27 X 1 1/8 size they are on sale at Nashbar for $6.95 and feature what I believe is the old Dunlop tread pattern . Which makes me want to stock up even though I have only 1 bike with that size.
