Thanks to Don Gillies (San Diego) for the details for the system he
uses for matching frame paint and to Gabriel Romeu (New Jersey) for his
comments on the method.
Several people have told me that Shewin-Williams Paint will
computer match a color at little cost. I'm going to try them and will
report the results.
One of my problems is that my Holdsworth frame paint looks good on
the bottom side of the frame but has faded to a more "yellow" orange
where the sun struck it.
