My first pair of "sprints and tubs" (there's a term you don't hear often these days) in 1960 had Weinnman wood insert rims. They were reliable and stayed true while being lighter than Fiamme. They used long nipples as it sat slightly proud of the tub. bed. This meant the nipples got covered with rim cement but I don't recall this being a problem. Ray Green, Harrow, Middlesex
