Hi, Nathan--
I've actually purchased a pair of the Maxi-car hubs from these guys and the service was great. I wanted a super strong set of touring wheels, so I had them modify a set of the 48-hole tandem hubs by putting in a 100-spaced front and 127-spaced rear axle for solo use.
They also asked me if I wanted to replace the hollow skewer-type axles with solid ones for added strength, which I did, which also gave me the added benefit of being able to use wing nuts, which I much prefer (both for looks and otherwise) over quick release skewers.
Anyway, these guys did a bang-up job customizing the hubs for me (for a reasonable upcharge). When the hubs arrived I had them built into Superchampion 58 rims, and you can see them on the Bates Club day tourer I took to Cirque, here---

If you get the 36 or 40-hole version hubs they have some with the special spoke holes (the French term is slipping from me) that let you change out spokes and work on the wheel more easily on the road.
There is but one drawback and that is----they have run out of Maxi-car stickers. I wish somebody would work them up (perhaps somebody has, and I just haven't found them yet, except occasionally on ebay).
Best o' luck
