Jerry and Steven,

First, Steve, thanks for the plug and your vote of confidence on my work .

Jerry, As much as I used to enjoy doing restoration and repaints and such; I'm desperately trying to get as far away as possible from doing that sort of work anymore. (I'll be the first to admit I'm not doing the best job of staying away, but I'm really trying.)

My desire is to focus entirely on framebuilding and creating new bike related products. I will be taking up my old hobby of custom knifemaking during my "spare"?? time.

JB is your man for Sachs repaints.

I've no doubt about the quality of Brian's work, but JB as Richard's current painter probably has the decals more easily at hand, and I think JB probably has a shorter backlog than Brian.

Brian Baylis used to paint for Richard as well, back in the day. Brian could probably do an excellent restoration for you as well. Not sure it would be any cheaper than JB, though.
