I just want to add that a Google search of "Cinelli Laser" came up with several pics of Laser #014. It happens to be the same as mine, so we can assume that the of the 005 and 007 version (with the rear brake caliper under the bb shell), no more 13 were built. According to the Cinelli Registry, Guy Apple owns #013. I'll ask him and if his is the same as #014, we can narrow down the early version to no more than 12.

Also a correction to what I said before: my Laser came with Ambrosio Aerodynamic rims, not Assos.

I am certainly interested in Lasers, but this one doesn't come up in any of my saved searches, not even in the broad Cinelli-Worldwide-All categories search. I wonder if perhaps it is because this seller doesn't offer to ship it? That's the only explanation I can come up with.

I did a Google translation of the seller's text, and I didn't see anything about only 10 of this version having been built. In any event, I would not be surprised if that asumption by the seller was correct. I own Laser serial number 024 (with exact same strip over the bb shell), and by the time they made mine, it was different from the one on eBay. The frame is almost identical, with the main difference being the position of the rear brake, which on my bike is located behind the seatstays, in the normal way. Mine has all Super Record drive train, brakes and hubs, with Assos rims. The bar/stem/saddle combo is an identical VIP set as the one on the eBay bike, as well as the 005 bike in Japan.

I'd love to know more about the Lasers, such as how many were built, but my efforts to find out (which include writing to the Cinelli firm as well as Andrea Cinelli himself), have so far yielded nothing.

I am planning on doing a photo page for my Laser, and I would like to include as much information as possible about the Laser model(s), so if anyone has any information or photos to share, I would appreciate it very much.

PS - Does anybody else on this list have a Laser? Guy Apple?

Given the three digit serial number 007 I would think that at least 100 have been planned but the only other example I know of is Amaki-san's number 005 - also under 10. Does anybody know how many have been built?
