I just recently won an Alan on eBay. I'm trying to determine whether the frameset is a Competition or a Super Record. It appears to have a melange of parts. Somewhere I heard that these were sold as framesets which could be equipped however the owner wanted. I believe the frameset meets the CR cutoff. I'd like to use this as my "daily" rider (as if I had the time!). Here is the eBay link. Anyone care to venture a guess? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
