Subject: [CR]parts for sale; funds to help send Dale to l'Eroica

Avanti! It was brought to my attention that there is still need to fill the fund ing "thermometer" to send Dale, our listmeister, to l'Eroica later this year. To that end, I offer the following assortment of items for sale, a ll proceeds of which will go into the kitty to help get Dale to Italy. W hat's in it for me is to break some of the logjam in my tiny New York ap artment, and the pleasure of helping something--a gift project, "in appr eciation of", that I believe in--along. Here, then, is my version of an NYC "stoop sale":

Gipiemme seatpost, 26.2mm "Brev G.P." one-bolt, alloy, fluted, well-used , still pretty, fits early Super Course for one example --- $22 shipped

"Cradles" for current production oak bike racks, vinyl-covered wire scre wed to oak blocks, used, good condition, 3 pair to offer --- $20 / pair shipped, or all three $50 shipped

1953 front brake, brake lever, and cable for Raleigh 'Sports' or 'Superb e'; decent used condition, chromed steel, uses application-specific brak e cable; cable housing fraying a bit --- $22 shipped

NOS fenders for 26" wheeled Raleigh, beautiful factory black paint w/ he ron decal, includes lighter wire-type braces rather than solid "bar" typ e; probably '70s but poss. '60s; anyway, timeless --- $55 shipped

Campagnolo Nuovo Record brake levers, 1 pr., for commuter etc., or track or let's just say 'utility' use, as they have a bit o' rash from conta ct with (vintage) asphault (mostly along one edge), "Brev Camp", from bi ke with flat QR brakeset but I am blind to any subtleties --- $22 shipp ed

Italian alloy stem, faux-lugged, 95mm extension, no-name, '70s "bike boo m" --- $15 shipped

French handlebar, steel, no logo, Maes-type, 25.0 --- $20 shipped

Campagnolo front brake hanger, '80s, tightens over top of headset, skirt -like; bolt / nut replaced, good used condition otherwise --- $15 shipp ed

Sturmey-Archer 18-tooth cog for hubgear--garden variety 1/8th 3-spline u sed, possibly off '63 Triumph --- $12 shipped

1960s / early '70s Raleigh steel rear brake for step-through frames (i.e . 'ladies' "Sports"), includes caliper, lever, and cable, basically good condition chromed steel. Has original type shoes showing no wear. Cable and housing exits "south"; lever is earlier type with triangular cutout . Silhouette of "Raleigh Man" stamped on arm near pivot bolt. --- $20 s hipped

Atax Phillippe stem, french dimensions, 95mm extension, faux-lugged & ho llow --- $15 shipped

Skid - Lids, his 'n' hers (small has rub-on letters "elle"), white, no v isors, used, & good / average / respectable condition, not super glossy, and foam a bit "dry". Curios of a bygone time, good for tandem team (ma ybe just the photo shoot) --- $17 shipped

Modolo "CORSA" brake levers with safety extensions. These must be the be st of this design, no play in the mechanism. Are these from the early '8 0s? Black housings, good used condition, certainly an upgrade from the m ore commonly seen brands of safety lever extensions; good choice for com muting or for those who've only cycled with safety levers fitted --- $1 5 shipped

Rusty British track cog; 16 tooth, 1/8", threads are good, wire-wheel it and / or paint it black --- $14 shipped

Thanks for looking. First come, first served. Please write with any ques tions, though it may be late sunday night or monday before I can respond
properly (two social engagements sunday). I will subtract shipping cost s and donate the rest to the Dale / l-Eroica fundraising effort. Payment
via paypal (please, this time) to help me simplify accounting--though I
can accomodate you of course if you don't have a PayPal account. I hope
some of these will find good new homes and help finish a project or two . Prices are for the U.S.; I can certainly ship overseas or over borders
but will tack on a bit for the increased postage (write to me, we'll wo rk it out). Help a good cause (actually, two of them), and to Dale--than ks for all you do and have done in putting this list together and keepin g it on track. Best Regards to all, Tom Ward New York, NY
